Salt at Peppers!

Back in December, we had a short trip to Kingscliff (near the border with Queensland). We had a nice time at a resort near quite an empty beach, did a couple of day trips and just recharged our batteries. I’ll write separate posts about the sightseeings.

The resort organised a Christmas lunch or dinner in the ballroom with a special menu. Of course we were too late to book the lunch which was cheaper, but as for Aleksej it is a “must do” thing at Christmas, we attended the dinner. Young kids were supposed to get a present from Santa. But in practice, when we came in, we realised that presents had been already put on tables. However, there was none at the table we were pointed to. I discretely asked the manager and to our surprise, she brought three presents instead of one. The elder kids “didn’t dare” to give their presents back, even they were obviously not for their age. Don’t know what was better – to get one present from Santa’s hands or get three without Santa at all 😂.

And the beautiful menu, for completeness 😊
