Today we went to a fruit orchard to pick some fruit. Unfortunately the cherry season is over so we were left with the “peach and plums” or “go home” options. Obviously after 1,5h ride we opted to pick what was available.
The Pine Crest Orchard, 500m above the sea level, +33C.
Our way to the plum and peach lines was going along the apple trees (not ripe yet): Gala, Pink Lady, Granny Smith…
We reached the destination and found lots of fruit (almost) ready for picking. The plums are ok, but peaches are a bit hard yet, so we picked them hoping that they can still get ripe at home.
