Tivua Island

We didn’t spend all our holidays at one place. One day we went to a small island for water and beach activities.

We got onboard of a boat at Denarau Marina (a small, but busy port):

The island Tivua:

Every group or family could choose a “bure” (cabana) like this for the whole day:

Anton tried snorkeling (bought a mask the day before), and although it didn’t go well (he’s still too young for this), it’s worth memorizing the moment.

It was a lucky chance that there was a kids club where Anton could unwind a bit and “calm his feelings”.

When Evelyn and daddy came back from snorkeling, it was our (Alan and myself) turn to go dive. It was a nice experience, though I’ve got no pictures of that. By the way, the coral reef seems bleached and is no longer as great to watch as a few years back 🙁

At lunch, we tasted Fiji beer: not bad at all. Alan didn’t miss his chance to pose with a bottle (like anyone would really believe that he drinks alcohol 🍺 🤭)

Then we had some swim time:

And headed off
