And here you go, June has come which means the cold season hits Australia. It also means something else… I’ll come back to that after a series of beach outlines.

I wouldn’t bother with the second thing, but the first looks quite attractive ;-).
And so, coming back to that other thing that June means: holidays!!! Yeah, we are going on vacation. Exactly a month earlier than was originally foreseen (during the school break) due to an error! Booking.com made a hotel reservation for us in June rather than in July. Has it been our oversight or a system glitch? We don’t know. What we do know is that it was a full prepayment and the cancellation fee is equal to that prepayment. In addition to that, the hotel is fully booked in July, so even the hotel would “forgive” us, there is no room for us anymore. A lady from the reservations kindly advised us to “sort it out and arrive in June”, so we are following her advice. Forget the school, work is “not a wolf that can run off to a forest”, so be it 😉
