26/12 Our second stop was in Kuto Bay (Ile Des Pines). Pristine beach, nice swim, all you need for a perfect day.

There is not much to say – the views speak for themselves.

We have had an excursion at this island, too. We visited a grotto where a princess of one local tribe was living during a tribal war: a pretty dark place, though featuring a statue of Madonna and a clothesline with kids clothing hanging.

We also passed by a local village with a church, a school and a war memorial.
