Australians sing in Russian! Twenty five guys from a town not far from Brisbane, with no Russian roots and not speaking the language, sing Russian songs. They are fun, and their motto is: “We are all Russians, but some people are a bit more Russian than others”.
They started the show with a prayer. I was very surprised (although I agree, it’s a proper way to start any work, but how on Earth could you expect that from people that culturally far from it… and moreover under the red Soviet flag…), so I did not capture this on video.
They sing old patriotic songs, like this one – “The Red Army is the strongest of all”:
