Brisbane is the capital of the Sunshine state and is supposed to greet us with amazing weather and all that. Though it seemed that we had got a special promotion (it was most probably Evelyn’s secret wish): rain. Luckily enough we were under a cover in the darkest moments of this day and walked in between. To start the day the most successful way we booked a river tour.
A complimentary morning tea was a nice surprise:
The river banks offer a mix of cosmopolitan and residential views (I didn’t take a lot of pictures as Anton occupied my phone during the tour):

We paid a visit to the Wheel of Brisbane, too. Surprisingly enough it made 5 rounds (rather quick ones, I have to say), we already started thinking that they forgot to stop it š


Then we took a walk till the Botanical gardens and passed by The Letters: and

By the time we reached the gardens, someone got tired (and hungry, and all…):

So why not meditate at a strange monument for a moment?

The gardens are certainly beautiful, but there is nothing really remarkable (maybe it’s not the right season?)
Evelyn likes taking pictures of flowers and she got disappointed at first, but she found them š
