Food puzzle

Try to figure out without asking google: what is this? It’s a multiple choice question with the below options for a solution:

– the truth

– an error in the label

– a joke

Hint: don’t bother looking at the producer’s website: they mention nothing about Belgium there.

9 in the barcode stands for Australia.

Macadamia has got nothing to do with Belgium.

On Belgian labels you would never find a phrase: “made from local and imported ingredients”. This is clearly an Australian thingy.

I bought the last jar available on the shell, by the way. For a discounted price (like “for clearance”).

So? 🤣

  1. Nice questions but you missed the crucial one…how was it? Could you compare it with Nutella or Côte d’Or?

    1. I didn’t miss it and I did compare to Nutella. To me, not much of a difference, as I’m not at all in favor of this kind of food, but Evelyn and Aleksej both said it was awful. Then, Côte d’Or is not too familiar to be a reference to quality here, and Nutella… is not Belgian 😘
