
















We are heading to Philllip Island to watch penguins. It’s the longest of all our laps so far. Melbourne will be just around the corner from there.
We arrived to the Pinguine parade at Phillip island on time. The little penguins arrive to the shore from their daily sea hunt and cross the beach when the darkness falls. It’s winter time now, so today they were expected at about 17:45.

They come out in batches, about 15 birds each, with a couple of foregoing leaders and a few lame chicks lagging behind the mass. They cross the beach and head to their holes.
