New home

So, we moved into our new “residence” – as they call it here. There are two frangipane trees in our garden which is quite nice. I like blooming trees ;). There is also a huge (2 stories high) banana plant (or at least something looking that way – there are no fruits on it 😉

Just a few challenges encountered during our first day:

  • We (Anton and I) tried to boil an egg in a teapot. I can tell you’d better buy a pan first 😉
  • Fridge was making annoying beep-beep (apparently the floor is not straight enough) until I put a shoe under its door.

Actually, I’m too tired to write a good post.

    1. Well that’s what I call a connection between friends…I had nothing to eat for lunch and I did want to go out for grabbing something so I took two fresh and organic eggs a colleague had left in the kitchen (she has 12 hens and 1 rooster) and gently and carefully placed them at the bottom of our electric kettle. After 2 maybe 3 full boiling cycles I managed to eat 2 properly boiled eggs. Worthless to write that I had to clean the kettle as it had a peculiar smell :0)

      1. Yes yes 😉
