We’ve started searching for a house as of the first day in Sydney and realized quite quickly that we won’t be able to move around the city with Anton freely. The public transport is yet unknown and as we have to catch our appointments, we need some reliable means of transportation that would allow some time estimation. Taxi is quite expensive as such, moreover with our company we need a van (kids as of 3 years old may sit on their own provided the seat belt is attached). So we decided to try Uber, assuming the above rule would work as well. It turned out that it does not. The Uber drivers seem to be afraid of the police and do not let Anton sit without a car seat. Okay for house visits as Anton does not need to be taken everywhere with us, but this issue originated quite a problem for family sallies. Like the one when we decided to go to a beach once. We considered taking a taxi, but finally opted for a hop on hop off bus as for the same money we would not only reach the beach and come back, but also show the kids some sightseeings. Pretty smart, huh? 😉
I have not made a lot of pictures during this trip as I thought “okay, I’ve already seen Sydney before, let the kids have all the time and enjoy”, so I stayed with Anton on the bus. But yet, I’ve caught a few shots (and hope Evelyn will share her collection with us ;-))
