Today was a day full of surprises. If shining sun and sea don’t really surprise us anymore, then the things we experienced today were not expected at all.
A lyrical digression: if that kind of order in a motel unit is no surprise, then I’m not sure what is 😉
We started our day with a stroll down a walking path with great sea views.
And then suddenly there were these beauties:

By the end of the day my catch turned into this:
Our visit to the Whale Killer Museum was nothing extraordinary, but it’s officially one of the local sightseeings.
Lunch before further hitting the road at a cafe full of images of the Mediterranean countries:
We stopped at a little place called Marlo where there is even no decent cafe to be found (but a great playground is there;-)).
This town features the spot where the Snowy river meets the ocean. We saw pelicans and even a seal coming out of water near the shore (but it’s very tricky to catch him on camera).
We came at the right time to watch the sunset. Anton said it would be pink and he was very right. It was gorgeous!!!!
