Today is the day for an “orientation” visit for Anton. It’s been scheduled for half an hour, but he liked it there so much that I had to really persuade him to go home.

First, he went to the outside playing area. It is divided into two major parts: for quiet and active play, and each part is split into a number of zones. In the active part there are bicycles and claiming gear available, while the quite part has a sandpit, a fruit market as well as cafe, barbecue and doll home zones.

Then we visited the learning area where kids (3-5 years old) get ready for school.

There are even iPads available (when a carer decides it fits the day learning program).

Kids get homework as well (like learn to read a word combination pr-, for example    – in a book full of images with words starting with this letters: princess, principal etc.)

And so after 45 minutes we left the pre-school room. But Anton was not ready to leave. He sat on a coach and said he would wait for the director to allow us in again (her office was empty, so…)

We are going once again for such an “orientation” on Friday.

And as of Monday he’ll join the group full time. We’ll get updates on the Kinderloop application.
